On Sunday, March 12th we organized the festival in StationRoyaal for the first time.
From 1:00 pm we welcomed about 150 visitors who could enjoy the more than 500 different types of whisky’s. In addition to our own private table, De Cognactheek and Stichting Dutch Whiskyteers were also present to provide enthusiasts with this beautiful drink. And of course we had also decorated a beautiful table with items from Tanzania and India.
The visitors could buy tokens with which they could pay for the whisky to be tasted and 20% of that was also for the foundation. In addition, we also raffled off a nice bottle of whisky and a special whisky photo. The sale of the raffle tickets also yielded a nice amount.
We have only received positive reactions to our initiative in Apeldoorn and this first edition will certainly be continued. This event has again yielded a nice amount for our foundation.
