On Saturday, January 24th, the 6th edition of the Whisky Festival Delft took place. This year, it was held at a new location: HAL015. The event was divided into two sessions: an afternoon and an evening session. We were already in Delft at 10:00 AM to make preparations and set up our tables. Around 11:00 AM, the first exhibitors started to arrive, and there was plenty of time for some friendly catching up. At 1:00 PM the doors opened, and a substantial line of whisky enthusiasts was already waiting.
The afternoon session was completely sold out. The visitors quickly found their way to the various stands, and many tickets were sold for the charity raffle. The prizes were generously donated by the exhibitors, supplemented by special items Nicole and Branko had collected during their trip through Scotland.
A special highlight this year was the festival bottling by Wine and whisky specialist Van der Boog. Visitors could bottle their own whisky at the festival, and for every bottle sold, €10 was donated to us. All 100 bottles were sold! A big thank you to Stefan and Michel for this fantastic contribution.
The second session of the day started at 7:00 PM. Although not completely sold out, we were very pleased with the turnout of over 200 visitors. We received a lot of positive feedback from visitors about the great atmosphere and the fact that the proceeds from this festival go directly to our charity projects.
