On Wednesday, September 30, we gave a guest lecture at Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam.
We were approached by Paula van Schie, a coach for the Honours Programme within the Faculty of Science & Engineering.
During the current semester, the fourth-year students are learning about intercultural communication and their roles as professionals—and individuals—in the world. They are linking this to a charity of their own choosing, for which they are required to raise funds.
To support this, they attend classes and presentations and engage in discussions with people experienced in working with foundations and international charitable organizations.
Representing the Yourright Foundation, we explained the methods we use to raise funds for our projects and how we receive donations.
We emphasized the importance of truly believing in the cause for which you are raising money and of earning the trust of your donors.
It was a wonderful afternoon to showcase how our foundation operates.
