This morning we received the sad news that the founder of Mokicco, Carl-Erik, has passed away at the age of 76.
We met Carl-Erik in 2015 during our first trip to Tanzania. He touched our hearts there and we decided to become ambassadors for his organisation Mokicco.
Carl-Erik has meant a lot to the people of his native Sweden as well as to all the people in northern Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.
His wife Overa will continu his work and ideas.
These words of Carl-Erik typify his belief in God: “Don’t believe it. No don’t believe, Carl-Erik said. Don’t think I’m dead when you read this – because then I’ll be alive like never before.”
