Festival bottling: Fill your own bottle
Especially for this anniversary edition of the Whisky Festival Apeldoorn, we have selected a special cask of “teaspooned” Speyside whisky. Although the age will not be stated on the label, the whisky has reached fourteen years of age at the time of bottling. The spirit originates from the world-famous distillery on the Easter Elchies estate and possesses everything enthusiasts of this classic style look for: ripe fruit, a full-bodied structure, soft spices, and a distinct chocolate character.

During the final four months, the whisky undergoes an intensive secondary maturation in a small, new oak cask with a capacity of just 15 liters. Its small size ensures extensive contact between the whisky and the wood. The new oak imparts additional notes of vanilla, toasted caramel, cocoa, and warm spices, while preserving the whisky’s rich, fruity character.

On the day of the Whisky Festival Apeldoorn, visitors can fill their own bottles directly from the cask. It is a unique festival experience and a bottling that will not be available anywhere else. The final alcohol content is expected to be around 52%. Limited number of bottles available.

The price is €62.95 per bottle. For every bottle sold, €10 will be donated to the Yourright Foundation.

Unique Raffle: As always, a raffle with great prizes will take place during each session. Tickets are available on-site for € 5.00 each.
