On Sunday, October 18, 2026, we hosted the very first edition of the Whisky Festival Oss.
The origin story behind it is actually quite funny. After our festivals in Delft and Apeldoorn, an acquaintance of ours from Oss asked if we could organize something similar there.
Since we are always up for a challenge, we got in touch with the local liquor store, Wijnhuis Oss. They were enthusiastic about the idea and pointed us toward a great venue: the business lounge of football club TOP Oss. After having discussions and checking out the location, everything quickly fell into place. Next, we reached out to a few acquaintances to ask if they would like to showcase their collections on Sunday afternoon—and just like that, the festival was set up!
And how did the day itself go?
We welcomed over 100 visitors, which is a great turnout for a first edition. The atmosphere was wonderful, and guests thoroughly enjoyed the fine selection of whiskies brought by the exhibitors. The raffle—featuring prizes contributed by exhibitors as well as distilleries and shops from Scotland—was also a huge success, with winners accepting their prizes with great enthusiasm. Everyone headed home satisfied, with many asking if there will be a follow-up edition next year. As far as we are concerned, absolutely!
